Raw 18.03.2024
Whoo-hoo! RadiantGame Team is now in Raleigh, North Carolina!
Tonight, we’re in for some big moments. Cody Rhodes will respond to The Final Boss, and this is going to be a fiery exchange. Several tag team matches are lined up to determine who will compete for the gold at WrestleMania. The Last Woman Standing match between Nia Jax and The Man will finally bring an end to their heated rivalry, setting a clear path for one of them. Let’s see what this show brings us tonight!
Main Event: Jey Uso Gets What He Wanted
I wasn’t sure this would be real, but we got it—WrestleMania is set for brother versus brother! Jimmy Uso, with Solo Sikoa in tow, makes his way to the ring. It seems they’ll try to ambush Jey, which, if you ask me, would be a mistake. Jey starts by saying, despite all the bad blood, he misses his brother. He tries to convince Jimmy to come back, but Jimmy fires back, saying he’s always protected Jey and it was his idea to leave The Bloodline.
RAw 18.03.2024 - Jey fight back to prove that Jimmy was wrong.
It’s clear Jimmy misses Jey too but is jealous of Jey’s accomplishments on Raw, including winning the Tag Team Championship without him. This is eating Jimmy alive. Jimmy believes all of Jey’s success is thanks to him, but Jey isn’t buying it. The tension explodes, and Jey attacks both Jimmy and Solo, but it quickly turns sour. Just when it seems like Jey is about to get hurt, Cody Rhodes rushes out! The American Nightmare handles both Solo and Jimmy with ease, saving Jey from what could have been a serious beating.
Raw 18.03.2024 - Cody Rhodes is saving his buddy from his own family once again.
Paul Heyman Apologizes
Backstage, Adam Pearce is furious over Jimmy and Solo’s actions. Paul Heyman steps in, apologizing, saying this wasn’t under Roman or The Rock’s orders. He assures Pearce that Solo and Jimmy have already been sent home by the word of the Tribal Chief. While this should put an end to the chaos, Heyman has his own business to attend to. He ominously adds, "When I finish what I came here to do, everyone will feel the consequences. Call Roman Reigns."
WrestleMania Tag Team Championship Qualifying Match: DIY vs. Creed Brothers
We’ve seen this match before when the Creed Brothers first debuted on the main roster. Back then, the Creeds won, and while DIY is more experienced, I had a feeling this match might go the same way. The Creeds were dominant, showcasing their raw power and athleticism, making life miserable for Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa.
Raw 18.03.2024 - Creeds showing their incredible level of strength.
At one point, we saw a brutal exchange between Julius and Ciampa. The Creeds tortured DIY with ankle locks, but DIY managed to counter with their own submissions. However, the sheer strength of the Creeds allowed them to escape easily. Just when it looked like DIY was done for after a double moonsault from the brothers, Ciampa cleverly dodged Brutus' bomb and stole the win with a roll-up! What an unexpected outcome—great match!
Raw 18.03.2024 - Ciampa is stealing victory for his team and going on WrestleMania.
Candice LeRae Continues Her Winning Streak
Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae are set to face ex-tag champs Katana and Kayden. Hartwell, trying to change her losing streak, shows compassion during the match when Katana lands badly on her knee and asks for a moment to recover. Indi gives her a breather, but Candice has other plans.
Raw 18.03.2024 - LeRae is showing no mercy to Katana and makes her suffer.
LeRae viciously takes out Kayden and then attacks the injured Katana, finishing her off with a creative submission move. Another victory, but Indi is shocked, unable to recognize her tag partner anymore. Candice's darker side is showing, and if she continues like this, she might drag Indi along with her to the top of the division, regardless of how much it shocks her.
Cody Rhodes’ Response to The Final Boss
Last week, The Rock had his moment on the mic, and tonight, it’s Cody’s turn. The American Nightmare doesn’t hold back, calling The Rock a "whining bitch" and a "terrible salesman." He also points out that while The Rock may be on the TKO board, that doesn’t make him infallible. Cody questions whether The Rock is still the "most electrifying man in sports entertainment" or if he’s lost his touch after a decade out of the ring.'
Cody also stirs the pot between The Rock and Roman Reigns, hinting that The Rock can’t claim to be the Final Boss because there’s still Day Two of WrestleMania, where Cody will face the real boss—Roman Reigns. Just as the crowd is buzzing, Paul Heyman reappears with a message from Roman. He says that this Friday on SmackDown, Roman and Cody will meet face-to-face, with no Bloodline interference except for Heyman himself. The catch? Cody must also show up alone. Cody shakes Heyman’s hand, sealing a deal that feels too good to be true.
Raw 18.03.2024 - Wizeman makes a good deal with Nightmare for the upcoming SmackDown.
Ricochet Is at War Again?
After beating JD McDonagh last week, Ricochet faces a new challenge—Dominik Mysterio. Early in the match, Ricochet takes control, but with JD causing distractions, Dominik manages to get in some good offense, including a nasty sit-out facebuster. Despite his improvements, Dominik couldn’t capitalize on a 619 attempt, and Ricochet hits the Recoil for the win. Ricochet is now on a roll, but Judgment Day doesn’t seem to be done with him.
Raw 18.03.2024 - Ricochet is on his warpath against Judgment Day.
Sami Zayn’s Struggles
Backstage, Sami Zayn thanks Chad Gable for getting him this match, but Gable, looking dejected, drops a harsh truth: "You can’t beat Gunther." Sami looks hurt, but deep down, he might know it’s true.
Intercontinental Championship Contract Signing
In true WWE fashion, the Intercontinental Championship contract signing happens in front of the audience. Normally, these end in chaos, but Gunther arrives solo and carries himself with the dignity of a champion. Sami Zayn, full of confidence, praises Gunther’s reign but promises to take him down.
Gunther, as usual, keeps things professional, signing the contract without much fuss. But Sami, perhaps sensing the enormity of the task ahead, continues to press, promising to end Gunther’s reign. If Zayn does win, it’ll devalue the title that Gunther has elevated. As much as I respect Sami, this belt belongs with Gunther until he moves on to even greater things.
WrestleMania Tag Team Contenders Match: Awesome Truth vs. Indus Sher
On paper, Indus Sher looks unbeatable, but The Miz and R-Truth have the advantage of years of experience and chemistry. Indus Sher dominated early with their power, but Miz and Truth fought smart. R-Truth performed his best John Cena impression, nearly locking in the STF.
Raw 18.03.2024 - Indus Sher is trying to get their spotlight on a biggest stage of the year.
In a chaotic finish, Miz took out Veer with the Skull-Crushing Finale while Truth pinned Sanga for the victory! The veteran duo is headed to WrestleMania! When was the last time we saw R-Truth at WrestleMania?
Raw 18.03.2024 - Awsome Truth is rolling once again.
Seth Keeps Playing Mind Games
It’s not Raw without Drew McIntyre making his presence known, but tonight, he didn’t even get to the ring before Seth Rollins made his move. As Drew was making his entrance, the WWE Champion appeared out of nowhere, cutting him off before he could address the crowd. Rollins, all smiles and full of swagger, continued his playful taunts, reinforcing that he’s always one step ahead of McIntyre.
Seth admits that Drew was right about one thing—he’s a spotlight junkie—but assures him he’s not underestimating the challenge. McIntyre, clearly irritated by the mind games, makes it known that he’s fixated on beating Rollins at WrestleMania. Seth, in his typical dismissive manner, shrugs it off, but the tension between them is at an all-time high. Drew is determined to have his WrestleMania moment, but Seth won’t let him steal the spotlight so easily.
WrestleMania Tag Team Contenders Match: The New Day vs. Alpha Academy
The New Day, one of WWE’s most decorated tag teams, took on Alpha Academy in a match that felt like a foregone conclusion. Alpha Academy, led by Otis, showed some fight, but Otis hasn’t been the same in recent years. Akira Tozawa showed off some flashy moves, even hitting a massive senton, but Kofi Kingston broke up the pin.
Raw 18.03.2024 - Just imagine what would happen if Otis will fall on you.
In the end, Xavier Woods finished Tozawa with a diving elbow, securing The New Day’s spot at WrestleMania. No bad blood between the teams, but it’s another WrestleMania for New Day while Alpha Academy continues to struggle.
Raw 18.03.2024 - Woods punched his ticket to WrestleMania one more time.
Last Woman Standing Match: Becky Lynch vs. Nia Jax
This match was high-stakes for Becky Lynch. If she wanted a clear path to WrestleMania with no doubts hanging over her, she needed to smash Nia Jax tonight. It wasn’t going to be easy, though. Jax, with her size and strength, had a strong chance in the beginning, but as the match wore on, her stamina became her downfall. I could see Becky taking advantage of Jax’s fatigue and making some game-changing moves, maybe trapping Nia under a table or using some heavy equipment to keep her down for the ten-count. This type of match always brings out raw emotions and chaos.
The match reminded me of the wild brawl between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar, where Reigns buried Lesnar under tables and chairs. While Nia is a beast in her own right, I figured Becky wouldn’t need as much firepower—just a few Annihilators and all the guts she could muster to keep this monster down.
From the start, weapons were part of the equation. Tables and steel chairs became essential tools in the fight. Jax struck first, hitting a brutal Samoan Drop on a pile of chairs, leaving Lynch struggling to her feet by the seven-count. Becky came back strong, planting Jax with a nasty Bulldog onto the steel, which left Nia down for a count of seven as well. I couldn’t help but wonder why Jax didn’t just overpower Becky like AJ Styles did on SmackDown, pinning his opponent with a chair to secure the win.
Raw 18.03.2024 - There is not much woman who can handle with steel steps.
Jax punished Lynch relentlessly, and there was a moment when it looked like she’d crush Becky for good. She even used my idea—grabbing a chair and sitting on it over Becky’s body—but somehow Lynch escaped thanks to a well-timed kendo stick. Jax didn’t stop there. She tossed the steel stairs at Becky, but The Man, showing her resilience, just wouldn’t stay down.
Raw 18.03.2024 - I have no idea how Becky was able to stand up after this Leg Drop.
The match took a chaotic turn when Becky found a fire extinguisher, momentarily blinding Nia, only to get caught by another Samoan Drop through a table. At that point, I thought Nia had it in the bag, especially after landing an Annihilator on Lynch. But yet again, Becky managed to escape, rolling out of the ring and getting to her feet just in time. As expected, Nia dominated the match, delivering bone-crushing moves, but one critical mistake nearly cost her everything. Becky hit a devastating ManHandle Slam from the apron through a table outside the ring, and somehow Jax barely beat the count at nine. When Jax tried to use the commentary table to her advantage, it all went downhill. Becky climbed a ladder and delivered a match-ending leg drop, silencing Jax for the full ten-count.
Raw 18.03.2024 - One of the hardest ManHandle Slams I've ever seen.
Becky may have been lucky once again, but she proved that luck comes with a lot of heart and strategy. On the flip side, Nia's luck continued to run dry.
And just when we thought the match was over, Rhea Ripley showed up, sending a clear message to her future opponent. Ripley toyed with Becky, daring her to strike first. Lynch was ready, but wisely chose not to attack, saving her strength for their inevitable clash at WrestleMania.
Raw 18.03.2024 - Nothing stand now between Lynch and her dream but Mami.
Final Thoughts and Ranking
This show was solid, especially with an incredible main event where Becky Lynch showcased her grit and proved once again why she’s the top contender, second only to the champion. No one is standing between her and her goal.
Paul Heyman made an interesting proposal to Cody Rhodes, but I can’t shake the feeling that it’s all a trap. When you’re dealing with The Bloodline, nothing is ever straightforward. We also learned more about the teams competing for the tag titles, and things don’t look good for Judgment Day. Every team either has a grudge against them or at least gets along well with one another, meaning Finn and Damian will face a serious test of their ability to hold onto their titles.
As for Gunther, he’s officially signed his contract, and you already know my thoughts on his match. Drew and Seth continue their “Santa Barbara” style saga with a pointless back-and-forth exchange of insults, much like Cody. Honestly, compare Cody’s promos to The Rock’s—it's clear who’s more captivating. The Rock’s speeches are not only entertaining but actually deliver meaningful messages to the audience.
Overall, I’d give this show an average rating of 6.5/10. Looking forward to SmackDown—it should be a great one!
